you know how when you blast the butane into the bowl ice forms on the outside of the bowl? well you also have moisture that collects on the inside. pretty much vaporized throughout the oil. if you spray the butane/oil into a deep bowl and let it all evaporate you will end up with a puddle of water at the bottom under the oil. i think using this flatter pan will help it dry faster. the more surface area the faster it will dry. though i'm in no hurry.

you can also but it over some boiling water and evaporate the butane even faster!

i was digging thru my desk drawers and i came across this bag of scissor hash. it is from this past seasons outdoor. it was dry and hard so i put it thru the grinder. then i dumped it into the extractor. JUST THE GROUND HASH. capped it and blasted a can of butane thru it. here's what i got drying now.

nope, first time trying. my wife was worried. she thought i was gonna ruin a bunch of hash. i said, "what's the worst that could happen"? so she watched. it came thru the screen in one big rush of dark brown liquid. had to have been 3 or 4 grams in about 5 seconds. i wonder if i can fill the whole thing.

i found some more hash and blasted it thru. i think i'm done extracting, now i'll let it fully dry.
