some people attack over the computer for no reason go figure not my way personally. its good to show others how to make extracts your methods are fine the end result is the same with different techniques as long as clean butane is used. to each his own i like to say

thats funny color of the extract has absolutely nothing to do with trapped butane. it is a clear gas or liquid

i wanna smoke more honey oil...I would warm it up and wipe the oil on rolling paper. roll a lil pinner, and BAM!! fuckin stoned man.

just wondering what you guys think of this method... (hold on ill try to find the link)
basically u let the oil/butane mix drop right in hot water...the oil clumps together on top so its easier to collect (although resembling snot) this is how i did my last run a few days ago... found it WAY easier to collect... almost none left on the collection plan. and i think the warm water might of leeched out more bad stuff.

just wondering if there is a way i can crystallize that? WITHOUT cooking it...

also.... the last 2 times i made oil this week i got 2 different colors...
first time was cheapo butane, tshirt as a filter, turned out brown
next run, used a little better butane (at least the writing was in english this time), 2 coffee filters and it turned out gooooooolden

only other change is i Darcoboxilated (sp) the weed first in an oven at 250 for about 15 min... i ended up with about twice as much oil and it was yellow/gold

just wondering if anyone else has experience with Decarbing the weed first before making BHO.

also the trimmings were the same.. AK fan leaf and mother clippings.

no i have not used that method of pre heating i just make sure the trim or buds are crispy dry i then crush it into dust then run it through a homemade extractor with unbleached coffee filters. the water method is interesting no scraping of glass bowls. i am considering making pills with olive oil and extract as a potent and easy way to medicate without my vaporizer the extract dissolves into fat very easily i will then put the mix in gelatin capsules i think about a gram per pill should suffice.

did that once before with hash and clarified butter, used an eye dropper to put it in some 00 gelcaps, works great
drill some 1/4" holes in a piece of wood to hold the pills for you while you fill, trust me haha.
i used a crock pot on low, filled with an inch of water, then put the clarified butter and hash in a small dish and put that int he water... let simmer for about 8 hours. sorry didnt mean to hijack the thread...

cool thanks ingesting cannabis really helps with sleep. im going to make a batch of honey oil soon hopefully 20+ grams just cant afford butane right now sad.
