Hey everyone, first let me say - I am sorry if this is in the wrong section.


Okay, I have recently become interested in the growing of marijuana and was wondering.


What sort of lighting I would need for a small grow box. (Small as in - 2 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet, w - h - d).


I only need to have one plant growing for personal, medical use.

a few 30w 6400k CFLs should give good coverage with adequate lumens for the veg stage. for flowering youll want higher watt 2700k CFLs. can get 2 85w 2700k off Ebay for about US$40.

ive got a box a bit smaller than yours with 2 plants in it using 1 125w CFL.

I ran a 70W hps in a similar space without problem. I added 4 - 23w CFLs but the temps crept rather high in the summer.
