I have a question or two, Im gonna make either a dwc or an aero unit this week end, 1st question, which is going to be best to use, 2nd, if i go with aero, can i go from clones right threw full growth in same unit?, will the roots end up blocking the misters and sprayers? or if i got with the dwc, can i go from clones to finish in this unit? how many plants will fit in this unit, 30 gallon tubs will be used for either one i chose. which will be the easiest to maintain, i know its a lot of question to ask at one time but i need some answers because i want to build it over the week end, Please help a newbie out. Thanks all

Hi, the best thing for you to do is build a dwc system. these are by far the easiest to build yourself.

It seems that you have too many questions to consider attempting something like this. Have you grown before?

I've found that in dwc its best to separate the plants, else roots get tangled somewhere along the line and one or more plants can suffer.

I'm assuming you understand ph and ec levels?

Hey Skunky, I have an outside grow going on now and a inside grow also, both my 1st, yes i know what ph levels are and i know what ppm's are and im im not sure what ec means, i,ve been reading alot in the forums and id like to give it a try, yes i am a rookie, but im gonna jump in with both feet, sink or swim, im looking to get a sog going eventually and i need some pratice so i can become experienced with growing. i just wanted to know which system would be best for what im trying to do, i have the room and the space now, i know what i will need for lighting, i now need to figure out if i can grow in dwc, thats why i was looking for some advice. this forum is awesome as far as info, I am gonna be buying what i need for the dwc, there gonna be in 30 gallon tupperware bins, 8 sites, maybe 6, depends on how im feeling when i make it. 2 air stones and a huge air pump with the most flow. and a fish tank heater with a therostat control, im gonna be making 1 to start me off, and if i can handle it, i will be making 3 more, they will be under 1000w hps, im just starting out so again this is all trial and error stages, but my goal is by spring time, to have a sog started, 4, tubs, 8 plants in each, 8 weeks veg, 8 weeks flowering, harvesting once a month, this is my dream, and im gonna make it happen, wish me luck, im gonna need it.

But yes i am still a rookie, but one day im hopeing i will be a professional, lol. today i am learning, tomorrow i will be doing sog, the next day i will be owning a depo store so all that want to buy it, with medical slips can purchase it from me, big dreams, but i have to start somewhere. 2-3 years, id like to have a warehouse, set up for strictly growing, ok im really dreaming now, lol Id just like to get my 1 dwc set up for now and take it 1 step at a time,

Wow... these are some big plans. I really hope they come into fruition. More people like you are needed, once they eventually legalise it, it's guys like us that will be opening the coffee shops and weed farms...

in cali, there are these shops that sell medical weed, i watched a show on dateline, or a simular show, that had all these doctors that were giving prescription for weed use for the lamest reasons, it was a very informative show, from what i got out of it was, theres a lot of depo's that sell it to medical patients and its legal, i might have to do some research on it to see what it takes to get licenced to sell it, but i know there were a lot of these places in cali.

ok it seems like i got off track of what this post was really about, lol. i will make a new post about what these depo's are all about and who goes there for there weed,

Cali's the place to be alright... what we need here in England is for the rest of the US to legalise it, then like a little puppy dog, we'd follow suit.
