Is creating too much co2 possible? I mean if you had about 5 of these going in a 4'x4' closet, would it kill the plants? Any adverse effects to the environment or anything?
I dont know if its possible to create 'too much' or if it has any adverse affects, but the plants grow best at 1500ppm, so id say anything over wud not be useful even if it was not detrimental.

I know 1500ppm is the limit of what plants can use but what if you go over that? If it's up to 5000ppm would it hurt anything or anyone?

Thanks Ninja! This setup is total badass dude!! I've been wanting to add c02 to my grow but don't have the money yet for a monitor, tanks, etc. I'd rather provide too much than not enough as long as I'm not damaging the plants or the environment.

so would the homemade co2 have the room around 1500 ppm if you cant read it? :-?
I cant say with any certainty as ive never forked out the money to test it.. mayb one day.. i doubt it though, or nobody would buy the expensive setups.
But this is a good addition if its all u can afford..

Looking Good jzs :)

How does it go with the softer plastic of the milk bottle? I didn like the way the soft plastic feels as it expands with Gas, so i went with the Good Ole Golden Circle :)
Aussie Classic :)

It will take a day or so to start bubbling.. (Fermentation Process).
You have to build the gas inside the bottle to a point where the bottle can no longer contain it before it can bubble out..
Or u may just have an air leak around where u glued it..

can the bubble lock be purchased anywhere else...breweries dont exist near me?
Um, most major chain shops here in Oz sell them.. We have like Big W & Kmart - i think America has Lowes & Walmart..
They normally have a sports section, then next to that is a little brew section, and they r in there..
