FOR SMOKING OUT OF, NOT GROWING WITH.

I know that aluminum foil is bad for you and burns holes in your lungs or whatever, but i wanted to open this up to other alternatives (excluding glass, of course. everybody knows that's chill). wondering about paper clips. (coiled to make a screen, stopping the weed, permitting air flow). i was thinking that they'd be in the same boat as aluminum foil cause they're metal, but if anybody know better than I, lemme know.

also chewing gum. i thought of that the other night, and was wondering,. because it goes in your mouth, so it can't have shit that's bad for you in it, but i wanted some input as to whether or not toxic chemicals could be released or created with the heat? I am geussing not, ut it wouldn't suprise me if there were.

One more thing: rolling with regular paper (not cigarette papers). would the bleach and thigns they put into it make it a bad idea? obviously, you'd want to avoid sheets with too much ink on them, i konw that stuff's bad for you, but what about the plain white stuff? If anybody else has any other thoughts or ideas to add or confirm, please post 'em. this would make homemade piece-making so much easier...


p.s. oh and i know about apples too. those are the shit. ....(any clue as to how to make them like a slide or chilllum for a water piece?)

Tin foil blows... if this is best material you got.. get some apples or other dense fruit... like watermellon or some kind of cantalope.. i dunno i usta make pipes outa fruit and keep them in my freezer... just a suggestion.. good luck bro

just go out and buy some brass or steel screens

instead of bubblegum use aquarium glue to seal shit together

good call. i usually try when i can, but i can't keep it in the freezer, i share the house. and the thing w/joints and blunts, i can roll, i just sometimes really like a good bowl. ...i'm gonna get a glass one soon enough, i just wanna wait till i'm good and ready so i can make a good choice on how i want it to pull (water bong, bubbler, short pipe, small bowl, long pipe, big bowl, etc.)

i was actually using bubble gum as the screen itself. i put it over the mouth of a taken apart flashlight (so basically, a tube), fashoined a bowl shape, and poked two small holes in the middle of it. it worked well, and is airtight, i'm just wondering if it's bad for you at all.

wouldn't brass and steel be bad for you as well? or is that just aluminum?

nahhh, lol. i'm just trying to be economical for a while. i'd rather not buy a bowl until i know i can care for it. this way i get to try shit out and really probe the depths of smoking out of shit.
