This is a great idea for the properly informed and knowledgeable grower.
But somebody is gonna try this that don't know what they're doing and end up filling their house with CO or CO2 and kill everyone present in the process.
You seem to have a handle on it, and are doin it the smart way with sensors and ppm reader.
Nice set up bro! lol now I look at my electric water heater and say "stupid, why can't you create some co2."

Hey if you put a piece of vent on that has flaps from the middle that will only open when air is forced through you would be able to better control the amount of co2 as there would only be co2 entering during specific pre set times and not when more gas is pushed through like when someone is showering. I cant remember the name it's a duct damper or something.

I have a gravity damper atached inline. Once the fan goes off, the damper closes by itself. This also keeps a/c and CO2 from being pulled back out of the room when CO2 fan is not running. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

IF YOU START FUCKING WITH VENT EXHAUST YOU NEED TO PUT CARBON MONOXIDE METERS IN EVERY ROOM. DO NOT FUCKING PASS GO DO NOT COLLECT 200 BUCKS. I am serious you have to put carbon monoxide detectors/alarms in every room that shit will kill you quicker than a pile of bad fugu.

i was actually talking about this today as my exghaust runs trew my chimny and so does my water heater... ur water heater puts out alot of bad shit after its burned including carbon monoxide... if u r venting ur water heater to ur grow room ide sugest getting a carbon monoxide detecter

I'm setting up in my garage anyway and there's a nat gas water heater in there now just calling my name.

I laughed at the code violation talk, I think the fact people are growing pot gardens is a litlte worse than a code violation.
