That is what I ended up doing with my friends setup and it is leak free now.

Alrighty the sprayer was working fine from what i saw but since your the creator.. I'll try it out.. Awesome setup btw.

Well I mentioned before that I thought this would be a good basis for a mini ebb&flow. So I was bored today and decided to put one together, as a proof of concept. Keep in mind that my home-made fittings are pretty crappy, i just dont have any proper e&f fittings. I just used what I could find around the house.

The one problem that i dont like is that the bottom of the top tray has a convex shape when i think happened then i drilled the holes and crammed the fittings into it, cause it not to completely drain (you can see this in the photo). I suppose this could be worked around by putting the pots on top of a piece of eggcrate or something...

FYI the dark blue ITSOs are cheaper than the "in style" colors, found it in a clearance-type aisle. Anyway heres the pics.

How long do you run it on and off for? Like on for a 1min and off for 10min? I just wanted to know do to my timer only does 15 min intervals.

Meh. I dont know. I really just made it because I liked the ITSO idea and I was bored, dont really have any plans to grow anything in it yet. But I have to keep it legal, so maybe when i harvest my peppers ill try for some strawberries or something. I would really like to do romanesco broccoli, but I'm not too certain about keeping the low temperatures that broccoli thrives in. but this broccoli looks sooo cool, its like a living fractal

Its a 320gph pump, which is WAY oversized for this sort of application, I think.

what size spray nozzle is that?(gph).u didnt say how far the nozzle should be from the cuts.why does it need to be in two tubs,couldnt u just pump water threw a nozzle onto the lid with the baskets.why do i need drain holes if the hole the hose comes threw isnt tight fitting.how long do u run the pump for?do u have a timer on that pump or does it run nonstop?my home depot didnt have fittings that a nozzle would screw into,nor did osh.my buddy tired to make this from this post.his didnt work tho.his cuts rotted
