I just figured this tutorial might help a bit.
PLEASE DO NOT POST UNTIL YOU SEE THE EAGLE. Well, repotting is easy. Real easy. Really. Just follow the following SIMPLE steps and you should be totally fine. But first off - when do you need to repot. You need to repot when there is not enough place for the roots. just about that easy. I'll be focusing on soil because that is my medium currently. In soil you need to repot when the roots bind the soil enough so that you can pull the plant and most of the soil stays intact. Remember than the root space is directly effecting the total size and consiquencly - the yield. In the vegitative state roots build up quick while that in flowering they don't. DO NOT REPOT A FLOWERING PLANT THAT PASSED WEED 3 IN FLOWERING. And a word on the soil mix. I use a premixed general potting soil considered premium with slow release fertilizers. Its a mix of peat, coco and tuff in a ratio I do not know. With that I mix about 10-20% of perlite. The perlite helps drainage. You can add up to 40% perlite and the plant will grow BETTER AND FASTER, but you will need to water a lot more. I currently use about 10% perlight just so I need to water less. I also add more slow release fertilizer - a guano powder with NPK of 2/15/something. I consider my soil a great mix. NEVER GO CHEAP ON SOIL. ITS JUST ABOUT THE CHEAPEST PART OF THE GROW AND IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN MOST OTHER THINGS. And on quality seeds too. The plant in the tutorial didn't really needed to be transplanted. It was on week 2 of flowering and had just enough root space to finish up well. Its a SugarHaze and I want to let it grow as big as possible. It have been put to flowering after about 2 weeks of veg and from my experience it should get pretty high anyway. Ideally you will transplant during veg when the soil is dry. Anyhow, lets continue.

First, get a plant that needs repotting.
![]() This baby is a 2 weeks in flowering Sugar Haze. its about 35-40cm tall. I believe it will get over 1.5m during flowering. If your soil needs mixing put it in a bag with no holes ![]() and mix well ![]() Put the soil in the pot and make space for the roots and soil already used. I measure the soil by using the pot before I mix to there is no excess soil. ![]() Squeeze the sides of the current pot. Go all around the plant. ![]() Grab your plant like that: ![]() And flip. ![]() This picture shows that my plant had pretty much a lot more time to stay in its pot. ![]() Put the plant in and cover it with soil. Plant it deep enough so when you cover it with soil the soil will cover it right to the first node. Helps on hight issues later. ![]() This is how it sould look afterward ![]() TAG YOUR PLANT. I use a straw and write on it. And when you put it in it new place water it with fertilizers AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FROM THE STEM. It will encourage roots to go far. Water like that for 2 weeks after repotting. ![]() THATS IT POST AWAY
