Step 1: Take the controller and cut and strip the black and yellow wires.
Step 2: Take the power supply and cut and strip the ends of the power supply. Careful not to cut the wires behind the first part of the shielded wire. That part will be wired to the black wire. Then strip back the inner wire. That gets wired to the yellow. Then simply use two wire nuts and or electrical tape.
Next just plug in the fans you purchased and you will be good to go. This should allow you to keep temps down and dialed in with small stealth grows.

Pic1+2: Fan controller i purchased. With this fan controller i had to snip off the 4 pin connector on an old power supply.
very nice tutorial dude. thanks for taking the time to post this, i been looking for an easy method to run a few computer fans, but hade no idea how to do so, till now.
Earned some rep for sure on this one.
i made kindof the same thing myself, there is info on this site you just have to dig for it. but i have 3 fans in my main box, i have one fan in another box on the other side of my room, i just used speaker wire to make an extension .
pc fans will fit inside 4" ducting, it take a little bit of force but it will fit.
I know this is an old thread, but I recently found out that a 120mm fan will almost fit perfectly in one of these dryer vent covers. You just have to file/sand about 1/8" all the way around. Different brands may be a different size, but the one I got a Lowes works great. It has a 4" duct flange on the other side.
