I have read in the "bible" that it stimulates root growth for cuttings to keep the rockwool wamer then the ambient temp. I am going to give it a shot. Here is how I did it:
I made a rectanglular box to fit under my humidome Then, map out where your parts will be installed I cut-in my dimmer switch boxes, and used dimmers to controll the intensity of the light. For heat controll. |

I like the creativity man! The only thing is that it doesn't very practical when you can buy one that isn't a fire hazard, is specifically designed for the application, uses less electricity, and is cheaper to buy. i used to have a heated propogator, i read the same thing as you, it helps root growth blah blah, i could never figure out why my clones never rooted though, then i switched the heated prop off and they took every time.....
