Good day all, Here i go again!

Took another batch of 51 clones last night, they in the cloner now,
lol,
they look soo poorly when they first went into it, but a few hours latter they were standing pretty....

doing this different then the last,
No timmer on the pump,
No leaf trimming or "halfing",
1 hour pre soak in rooting horomon,
only a Tea spoon of growzyme in the Cloner Rez...

Soo..... Here be Day 1............

just put into cloner.....




20 hours later, only misted once yesterday.........






So.. this is about the 4th different method i've used, meaning rez mix, pre soak, trimming, air stones and pump times, think i'll have enough proof of the best way by the end of this round, at leaste for me and my setup...

.......cool! And they look awesome so far! So what are these cuts from and how did you treat the mother(any special prep nutes?)? And can you tell what your pre-soak solution is exactly and what you add to the res h2o..... Any chance you can get an average temp of the res water? One more thing......what are you useing for lights?

I just emptied my cloner out this past weekend and have everything soaking and now just to get it back together...... I have to have roots by July 2nd so I can have it out of here and back to my grow by 3rd as we have a party every 4th...... So, that gives me the next couple of days to move everything up a stage and fill the cloner-----45 sites; this time I will try it without the timer again. Last time I ran 45 I got 43 out of it within 2 weeks, nice roots and all-----was @ 1 on 5 off, PowerCloner Solution, temps stayed @ 78-80F in the res(1st root was at 5 days), no special prep on mom. This time around I'll do WW and AK47......

the new clones are Romulan x SSH, and nothing special done to the mom'z, feed just water last 2 times before i took the clones..

i then trim the bottoms and put them into a weak mix of KLN rooting concentrate and water, use about half the amount the lable says, and i let them soak for 1 hour, anymore tends to allow the stems to intake too much rooting fetz and slows the roots from reaching out....

after the hour they go into the cloner, it's mix is 40L water with a teaspoon of growzyme mixed in. in the cloner is an air stone beside the pump, and the pumps runnin 27/7 this time round, sorry, no temps, i ain't got one of those little thermomiters.... but the water in it feels room temp, so i'd say in the 70's.....

I use 4 x 4' T5's on 18h cycle for them, start with them about 2-3 feet up and move closer after about 3-4 days, by the time you see roots my T5's are about 8-10" over the canopy.....

but only if your air stone isn't put right in front of the pump intake with pump 24/7.... and if you are using a timer you need 2 stones.....

Thats one of the things i've already worked out for the next one, it will have 2 air stones evenly spaced in the bottom to solve that problem.... i'm pretty sure it's the air doin it, the roots love it in there, i've actually been moving the stone around for the late rooters and had good success in putting the stone under them....

LMAO, i just desided that yesterday, wuz kinda waiting for someone to ask..... trial and error works best, thankfully it's only a minor error...

I need to garrentie my clone turnout so i am refining actual trials to make the best cloner for my situation! and i must say....

i just cut clones yesterday and i can already see the white nipples of roots on the stems! i used fuk all nutz or presoak, 24/7 pump, 2 air stones and i see roots starting just under 24 hours latter......

i dont recall reading in the tek anything about an air pump or air stones?!?!

this cloner never started with an air stone, but i added one after the timmer, for the pump, the clones were takin longer then normal so i put the air stone in to help....
you don't need one but they are good to use, roots love bubbles,

i stopped using air stones in my cloner a while back cause it added to raising my city waters PH too fast.... but after the water sits for 4 days in a rez with airstone, seems to hold the ph better, then i t goes into the cloner...

nuther tryed and tested topic, lol, in the end it works out that my city water has a high clorine count... clorine raises the waters PH when airerated... learned that the hard way after having to change the cloner Ph every few hours! let the water sit for like 4 days first being airerated and it holds a good steady ph even with the airstone!

anyhow.... i gotta go try my new ph meter.... i always used liqued test kit before....

And oh ya! those new clones, like 46 hours old... they Got Roots! pump on 24/7 with airstone in front of pump intake.... don't think i'll use timers for my cloner anymore....

Well all, here they be 48 hours after they went into the cloner, only reason i'm sayin it under hour ratings is cause i already got roots.....

2 stems, 1 has a 3/4" root and the other has a few small 1/8" roots....

But Fukn eh, Roots in less then 2 days!..... that makes me soo happy...

** And as a Note, the roots are not around an airstone, lazy arse me hasn't put the second one in yet and the present one is on the other side of the container from the roots, once again, nice to know **
