everyone is talking about auto flowering dwarves

i have often thought, wouldn't it be nice to just set some plants in the closet with some soil and a timed drip system and just call it good. but to me it all seems too good to be true.

with 8" more verticle space and a light timer i could be growing a 20%+ indica and wouldn't the yield be almost twice the dwarf and probably half the price.


how do the AFD'S stack up to their normal strain counterparts in potency and yeild?

is it really worth paying the extra for the seeds and the 24 hour light cycle or should i just stick with the time tested routine?

i am growing some lowryder among other strains, and i love it. they work great in gallon bags with 18/6 lighting schedule. If you keep them under a foot, you will get a massive 1 to 2 ounce nug, which is awesome.

if it can produce over an ounce at a foot i'm impressed, but is that wet or dry weight.

and what is the potency as compared to the original strains they came from?

it all depends on the strain. Auto flowering strains are all very good. If you have heard people saying that they aren't potent then they dont know how to grow weed. For a plant that gets only 1-2 ft tall they give off a good yield but that also depends on the grower. for the experienced auto grower they can expect atleast an ounce per plant i always get atleast an ounce. I have had some plants give close to 2 ounces but never more. There tons off strains out there just try them and find out for yourself.

i can tell you, they are potent. My freinds little brother, a regular potsmocker, got high as a kite without even taking a hit. I smoked a joint and a bowl with a freind while he was there, and he was high for two hours.

last question
are there any afd's that are not femenized?

i don't really like the idea of messing with genetics 1 retard or hermie will ruin the whole batch if i don't catch it quick

if not who has the best genetics, so i can attempt to avoid that issue

i pick my lr up every day and inspect for males. Its easy to catch them cuz you can easily pick the whole plant up and examine all around.
