So I got bored and wanted to press an ass load of keif... This is the idea I used.


A plastic tube with an end on it
2 quarters
a penny
and a small clamp

Coat the quarters with wax paper, I used foil and was not impressed, this will help you remove the sticky sticky pressed keif.



Place one coated coin inside the tube and lay in your keif.




Place the other quarter on top and put the penny under the plastic bottom between the clamp and the plastic tube bottom and crank it down!


Pull the quarter out and you have this:


Enjoy your new pressed keif!


Keep pressing to make hash!

Physics... Pressure = heat.

You press it and press it.

I never said it was the quickest or easiest way to press keif, but it is how I do it when I fill up the bottom of my pollinator.

"pollinator" is the legal name you would ask for in the smoke shop (kinda like don't ask for a bong ask for a water pipe). Basically it is a grinder with multiple levels, the herbs are ground on the top level and pass to the next level where there is a fine screen that sifts the trichromes from the fresh ground herb. It does not reduce the potency of my medicine noticeably. The trichromes are all collected in the bottom level. I empty mine every couple of days. I do not force anything through the screen.

You might be able to see it in the pictures up there. The silver cylinder thing.

oh i know what that is, just never heard the term. I smoked kief in a volcano a few weeks ago, sooooo baked. Looks like you got a good amount there, enjoy.

Ha ha ha that amount is long gone! I have used the press a few times since.

I use a Kief Box:

This is a WICCA Kief box, the very best one on the market. There is one slightly larger and one slightly smaller, and you'll need one to make HIGH GRADE blonde Lebonese or Blonde Afganey Hash. You can buy them at a "head shop" or "smoke shop" or "herbal accessories" store or order them off the internet. I suggest you Do NOT get a GRINDER Box or Spaceship Box. They make lower grade green or brown grade hash because they allow some small amount of leaf into the kief..

Left over fan leaves make OIL. The left over trim leaves are for making HASH.
Those CRYSTALS, (slang term) on the leaves are called trichomes, while they are still on the leaves. In Europe, they call them resin glands. AFTER you remove them, they are called KIEF.
After you bake them, into a lump or chunk or cake, they are called HASH. That is where the HEADY HIGH THC is.

A lot of people make HASH a difficult way, called Bubble Hash with ICE and Ice water. If you google HASH, youtube, you can watch 300 videos on how to make hash. The most difficutl way is BUBBLE hash with ice water. I use a strainer, or filter or screen, that is in my kief box, to remove them.
MUCH EASIER FOR ME!. Get a kief box or a permanent metal coffee filter and I'll help you if yu have questions. It is easy the way I do it!

If I roll two joints a day, and use my kief box as a rolling tray, to break down my bud, at the end of each month, I find a gram to two grams of high grade kief in the bottom of my box.
