Many of you have probably seen the $30 hanger http://www.elights.com/lighthanger.html that you can adjust with just a cord.
I went to Home Depot today to get some Rubbermaid Roughnecks for the Stinkbud's tutorial (Harvest a pound every three weeks!) and found that they have some 2 foot blinds for about $4 each. In order to make it into a light lift, you just have to remove all of the blinds and what you have left is the lift.

Correct. I was talking about that last month.

I think I'm subscribed to your DIY aero thread, did you mention it in there? I don't remember. Damn, and here I thought I was being brilliant and coming up with a real cost saver. I knew those hangers were pretty much just levour blind lifters, but I never knew how cheap a brand new set of blinds can be.

DubB83, you are really inventive, maybe you can help me come up with some sort of bracket that will hold two small MH hoods so that it can be controlled by the same lifter. These are smaller reflectors that take the HQI, double ended bulbs and are only about 12" x 8".

I charge by the hour... Just kidding. I think I mentioned it in the scavengers thread. I'm not sure. I know I posted pictures of a blind and light and then the light mover. Can't remember the thread... It is some where..

Do you have a picture of the light hoods and how you would like them arranged? I hope they are light because the blind might not hold much weight.
