Im looking to grow my first plant and im looking for a small very stealthy box. Ive looked into the pc boxs but they all seem way overpriced. So i came to the DIY forum to try to make one. What would be the smallest grow box i could make? Yeild is not an issue with me if i get a couple buds thats fine, also looking into the dwarf strains. But i need something small and stealthy. Any suggestions would be great

you can try to find a busted old pc and hollow it out and light it with cfls. personally i might use an old tv or a big guitar/bass cabinet amp

well, i was at the mall today and my friend happend to tell me about a small hydroponics setup. I bought it for 90 bucks when the box said 150 so that was cool. The only problem i think im going to have is the odor, i found a good spot in my closet that i can put it but the odor is going to be bad

if you enclose it in a rubbermaid or 2 (one on top of eachother) then you can vent it with and intake fan and a exhaust fan running into a carbon filter Easy to Build DIY Carbon Filter that will knock out any smell. but smell shouldnt be to bad untill you flower depending on the strain and the size and amount of plants

I'm going to plant 3 plants and how many females are left thats what will be growing, so say two plants, which will be pinched to keep small, about 12'' tall (yield is no problem) Not sure what strain they are, my friend just handed them to me. It is going to be in my closet which is about 2'x2'. Planning to keep plants small and hopefully budding quick.

i think a rubbermaid would be work for you because you could keep the smell down,you dont need a lot of space and its pretty stealth rubbermaid grow heres my set up

I think that may be my best bet, my next problem is getting power into my closet (an outlet), there is an outlet right outside the closet but it would look suspicious if i drilled a whole in the wall and had a chord running to the outlet. not sure what im going to do there

id just take out the floor molding, hollow out some of it and run the cord through it.then you wont fuck up the dry wall you could just put something infront of where the cord goes into the molding

or pull up yo carpet and try to run it under there just put a night stand or some other bs infront of the outlet

or just run the extension cord in there and plug something inconspicuous in like a phone and put it in plain sight then just cover up the end of the ext cord
