I went to school for elctro-mechanical and made one of those my first year. Had all the supplies in the shop so it was free and very very nice, used expensive equipment

well the light bulb idea is GREAT...if you like smoking crack or meth..other then that it sucks...i dont understand how those are considerded vaps...dont vaps creat steam those seem like they would produce smoke...but idk....

hell ya that shit is for meth heads. Cant control the temp on those, not really vaps

I have only used a vap once and it was a cheapie without temp controls. So my opinion of them is really bad. Some day I'd like to try a Volcano but right now I don't even know anyone that owes one. I run with a cheap group. LOL

if u get a good vap they are great to use. Feels like you didnt even get a hit till u blow it out and cough your ass off

I posted the stuff below in another thread about vaporizers, thought it was relevant.

Vaporizers make it a different type of high, more of a cerebral high than a I can't move off the couch high for me.

If you want a poor man's vaporizer get a heat gun! Then you can use any piece you own as a vaporizer.

marijuana vaporizes best at around 185F, at 200F you start to burn things other than THC, and at 230F it will combust like with a lighter. So be sure to find a variable heat gun that goes to a low enough temp, a lot of them have a min temp of like 300F. Also, if you do go the heat gun route you can build your own globe vaporizer with a cheap ass fish tank (globe), some mounting supplies and something to hold the weed just above the gun.


I highly highly recommend the heat guns, since then you can turn anything into a vaporizer.

Also, some soldering irons have temps that you can adjust low enough, but they just don't work as well as the heat guns.

Yep, that variable temp heat gun looks like the ideal solution.

Wanna place bets on how long before that superslick heat gun goes the way of the spoon-shaped McDonald's coffee stirrer?

find a the cheapest regular heatgun you can. find a drop cord with a dimmer switch (or do a lil re wiring as i did) and turn it halfway down. It cut the temps down for me to a point i could use a thermometer to mark the dial in numerical settings.

I've been having some really bad breathing pains and difficulties recently so am seriously considering a decent vaporiser. I tried having the tiniest little lick on a pipe but it just brought the pain right back.

The volcano looks great, but is mega bucks. £250 right?

This is an option bt does anyone have experiences with good vaporisers. I dont want a super cheap one that will not get me high and will pay for a volcano if i have to,

Has anyone tried those Vapair handheld versions?
