Talking Cheap Flood / Drain System.....DIY
Just wanted to show how cheap it is to make a flood and drain system.
This is my first hydro system and came up with this idea while at
The Containor Store. Its is a flood and drain system and i was going to use it in a SoG style grow op. You will need 4 of them for this system. Or you could just use one of theese as your flood table/ rez tank in a small grow op. Its up to you how you want to use this system. This system only takes up about 1'x2' with a 20gal rez. enjoy....

Please give me your opinions on this set up or ask any ?s you have.
I have not got to use this system yet but Im waiting for clones and seeds to get ready for the system. I cant wait for the ladys to be ready.

Im going to squeese all this in a Homebox Xl hopefuly with no problems. but first i need a few more week b4 i can give i a go. still waiting on my babies to grow up a lil more but im getting close.

When you say cheap how much are we talkin'?

I don't know much about these systems. I see you have a pump, a filter, and some other thing in the bin. How are all the tubes connected?

#1 Pump 250 gph $15
#2 Pump 150 gph $10
Air pump $10
White container 20 gal $15
Clear Flood Table $10
Fill & Drain $5
--------------------------------
total $65 Priceless

This is not rocket science its a flood and drain system. A F&D is the easyest hydro system to put together. In a F&D there is only a few moveing parts. One is the pump to fill the flood table and the othere pump is just to keep the nutes in the water mixed. The air pump is a no brainer, its for putting air in ur water, but i also wood h202 in ur nutes just to keep the roots queeky clean. the too conections on the the flood table is one to fill and one to drain. The one in the middle is the fill line and it goes to the bigger pump. The othere connection on the flood table is the over flow witch will hook up to just a hose. Thats it really, besides makeing room for the wires on the side of thee tube so u can close the lid tight.

This is probly one of the most easy and cheapest and sweetest flood and drains i have seen yet.

Yeah this is cleanest flood & drain ive seen yet

If you look closely the flood table fits perfectly on thop of the rez tank. cant gett no more perfect. i think theese where ment for a flood & drain cuz they fit soo good together. Plus if u have any leak problems they will go staight back in ur rez tank with no leak any where. You can use this system in two ways. One with the medium (hydrotun) in the flood tabe filled to 1/2' over the over flow level, and put RW cube on top. Or you can use pots fill with your favorite medium (fytocell) and fllod it with the pots siting in the table. this way you can move the plants around as u dump ur rez every 2 weeks.

This wood be perfect for a Homebox grow cuz i can fit for of theese in a XL Homebox with 12 plants in each table. 12 x 4 = 32 plants in a SOG style in a 4x4 grow tent. I have not started the op yet but im close, just waiting for my bitch to give me sum babies.

I posted this idea so others can do it bigger and better. I love RIU and the ppl here too. there so much info and ideas on this site but you have to dig around for it but u will find, I promise

Please give it a go xspecialy if u need some thing small, clean, simple, cheap, and reliable. If u use water go with Flood & Drain.

Remember it only cost me $65-70 Max to build this.
Plus is fitts together PERFECTLY The table does not move around cuz it fits so tight on the rez

where do you get your H2O2 at? what percentage is it and how much does it cost?

I get 35% online for 30 dollars a gallon, but i need a source for 50%.

Nice system, I just set up a flood and drain as well, and am very pleased by the simplicity of it.
