You have to realize that I build nice filters myself. But then again I have the capabilities and the know how to build some really cool stuff.

lol... I had my girlfriend pay as usual... but it was embarrassing being in the lil-girls underwear section... I was first going to get normal pantyhose, but my girl suggested little girl's dress sox.. and just being in that section made me feel like everyone was staring at me as though I was some sort of perv lol.

... you know you are right... they do have really thin stretchy dress socks for men... why didn't I think of that lol

has anyone used one of these to the end of its life yet? how long does it last? what's your average temperature and humidity being exhausted? I have a small to mid sized room to vent. I built a 6x14 inch wooden box and lined with about an inch of carbon, 3 of those containers from walmart. I might add 1 or 2 more later if I feel like it would help. I'm using the stanley blower from walmart, on low, it moves wonderful amounts of air and seems to work well with my filter. I'm hoping to get at least 4 months out of the filter before having to replace the carbon.

Well the first one I built is still in place.... I saw no noticeable defence in RH or temps in the cab... when the lights are on.. you can put your hand over the filter and feel the warmth so there seems to be plenty of air movement... The stanley blower is a great fan... and I can see using 4 of these in tandem... but I'm sure you can make a large scale model.. you just have to do some shopping around for the containers... I remember seeing a small waist basket at an office that looked just like the cups but bigger... my mind quickly wanted to know were to get them to make a huge carbon filter lol.
