I made a batch of butter a couple weeks ago... and i failed. i just melted the butter down, threw the weed in, and stuck it all in an airtight container. The shit smells worse than anything i can describe. It tastes pretty bad too. Is there any way i can fix the issue with the end result being thc in my bloodstream? Thanks.

did you cook the pot in the butter or just put it in the melted butter and seal it up? You need to cook the pot in the butter to release the thc into the butter.

well you have to cook the green in the butter for a decent amount of time to allow the fat to bond with the thc and so the THC has time to decarboxylate then after its done with all that good stuff i'd give it a minimum half an hour then you strain the solid weedy materials out and TA DA! you have delicious cannabutter
