Im planning on making thc drops.. that is mix finely ground dank with some olive oil and heat it up....... but my one idea is that i put it all in a snapple bottle and put that in the oven.... is there anything bad about that? do you think it will explode? or anything else bad will happen

no to the snapple bottle unless you want that thing to explode!

Ive started using the oven lately, but it's not cost-efficient unless you're working with a lot of weed (I am). Second, where did the Snapple bottle come in? No, the glass and paper can't handle that range of temperatures, bad idea, shattered glass and half-ass'd resin everywhere.
And "THC drops"? If you've ever made this stuff, you know it is not exactly the most manageable material ever, and definitely doesn't qualify as a "drop". It's good, old-fashioned THC/hash oil.

Double boiler is the safest way. if you accidentally get oil up to the boiling point you will most likely ruin the THC..
a double boiler is the only way to keep the temp down below boiling point of water.
