in one of my ht's there is a small article about cooking with your post vape bud....anyone try this or already do this.....how did it work out for ya.....

I would say don't expect to bake a batch of cannabutter on vaped weed alone, you'll need some green in there too, but it can't hurt!

Yes, and it works just as good; if not better than fresh green!

The taste however is very "earthy."

my freind says that he's done it before- so i guess it works. I would guess that you need a lot of it like 1/2 oz to an ounce or so for a stick of butter.

I disagree. It can't possibly work better than non-vaped bud, seeing as the vapo is going to vaporize off some to most of the thc.

As far as what it tastes like, you may very well be right.

Let me put it like this - YOU CANNOT LOSE BY DOING IT - Vapo and then make some cookies with the reminants.

I know it is counterintuitive but just trust me on this one. It will only cost you a stick of butter and some time...

it works, just a matter of how much you use. I took somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3rds of a cup of it and mixed it with some peanut butter and baked it for like 10 minutes at 250. Then spread it on bread and baked that again until it was a little toasted and ate it. Got me high.

i took about 25 grams of ABV in a mason jar and poured in some 98% grain alcohol, just more than enough to cover all the weed so it would float freely (next time im going to use more grain though)

i left it in the jar for 3 weeks, shaking every night or every other night... finally i strained it into another jar using coffee filters, although next time im going to try and find something that is more durable, as the filters were ripping and i feel like i lost a lot of potential liquid in the straining process

i was left with a verry dark green, almost black, liquid... which was the equivalent of about 1 shotglass and a half

i then made 2 drinks with equal amounts, so maybe 3/4 of a shotglass full to 1 drink... which i mixed with sierra mist (tasted like shit, im using something else next time)

me and my buddy each drank them on new years eve... the taste was pretty bad so we only drank about 3/4 of our drinks, planning to finish the rest shortly after

id say after maybe 20 to 30 minutes i definitely felt high as shit, getting considerably higher as time went on... i opened up a beer - only ended up finishing half of it, and for the rest of the night i was obliterated, so much so that i didnt even drink at all the rest of the night, and was actually declining bowls bein passed to me 4-5 hours later, which is something i never do lol

couple of my other friends who showed up later drank some of the remaining drink, only a fraction of what i had, and said they felt high as hell also, even til the next morning...

overally - id say ABV definitely has a use.. also, the vaporizer i use is the vaporwarez, tube style, and i vape pretty heavy, taking the weed out halfway through to crush into powder and then revaping it

I don't think you are supposed to drink ISO... But I do the same thing, save for I evaporate the alcohol and smoke the hash left over.

i used actual graves grain alcohol, 190 proof, which is made to be ingested... certain types of alcohol though you're definitely right about not wanting to ingest
