Re=retrying the myth longer OIL crock pot cook better or same as 4 hours?
So I am a die hard tried and tested damn near all the crock pot oil methods we have here the RIO cooking forums as well as others.
And when I 1st started the medibles I tried it for about 4 hours and with 8 hours (using same amount and from same plant)
My general rule is 1 cup to 1 oz of good buds or
1cup oil to 4 g hash (any kinda from keif to bho-iso-water)
today I am making about 6oz oil (I use only olive or olive grapeseed-canola mix) I pref the coconut.. but... the price is higher and noticed NO difference with it.. cept the taste and burps and that is does go to a solid at room temp HUGE benefit if you dont have a capsule maker (turn the caps uside down and squish the oil in.. works so well)

today I started the oil at 7am.. will stop it at 3:00 this time lowered the heat to an 8 hour run vs the time of 4 hours and temp at 4 hours(seems to be the same ending heat at sub 250ish)
expect to have about 4oz of oil in the end .. not much only about 75 caps worth.. using some nicely frosty iceberry buds.
figured I would give it another run on a 8hour cook time
so rather then waking and baking this am at 5am... decided to try the canna caps.. had 7 of them (tried 3-5 last night... )
1st off... DONT wash your capsule machine then add dry capsules.. They are gonna bulge out and POP if there is water at the bottom of the cap tray (learn something new every day.. I learned the hard way... which is really why I had to take them since they were gonna break open)
will see how it goes..
so it's been an hour and well I am not in pain.. have a bit of energy -unusual and even remembered to post back here in an hour on the results so....
No larger PSYCHO active effects...
But the pain is gone or least hidden for a bit...
the energy is nice.. feels like a few red bulls
still not able to pinpoint if it's the longer cook or the canna used. at this point I am thinking 4 hours has been fine compared to 8
have made over 100 pills should last till monday so will update then....
have you ever tried cooking for 4 hours, let it cool, then reheat again?

Yeah I heard this was best esp with the hash oil... did 2 4 hours runs with over night cooling Again... this is how I react to it... I use a lot more then most and do not get the psyco active effects and that that I do get lasts only minutes
