    Default your cannabutter ratio

i am planning on making some rice crispie treats and some carmel candies and i am wondering how much bud you guys put into each bar of butter. i know some people use trim. and i believe you would have to put more trim in to the butter to make it as potent.

it really all deppends on how string you want your treats! me persoanlly, i do not smoke and i dont eat edibles all that often so my tollerance is low, so my last batch of butter, i used 2.5OZ flower, 1OZ leaves/shake, and 5g keif and a tub of dispensary bought butter and i added 4lbs ghee( i separate the milk fats from the oil as they burn easily) i know people that make it WAY stronger but this works for me.

its what i had on hand and the butter keeps in the freezer, and with the chocolate that i make it too stays in the freezer and will last me 2-3 months. all that i added i had grown so it was laying around. and as i harvest more flower i will just add it to the leftover butter and add another lb of butter. so i will have a never ending stash of 4lbs of cannabutter! LOL

I just used a ratio 2 sticks of butter to 1/2 oz of shake. I used a small crock pot, and let it crock overnight. The butter came out an olive drab color, and actually, I think I overcooked it. It smelled a little like burnt popcorn a little but my friends say they don't notice.

I made some fruity pebble treats last night with it per the recipe on the box and they have very little weed smell to them, but come on very good about 30 or 45 mins after eating them. This is my first attempt. I think next time I make it, I will look for a guide that includes some water, or increase to 3 sticks of butter, to help combat the overcooking.

Seems to work just fine to get the buzz on.

Pyrex bowl inside a large pot of boiling water, put trim/bud and butter in bowl and place it in the pot so the water doesn't overflow into it. I think it's called double boiling or something? It's the same method some people use to melt chocolate, just do it for 3-4 hours and top up water regularly.

some water? ive herd of using water to "clean" the butter. by melting mixing with water than cooling the butter till hard and repeating once or twice more. i was thinking about that but my butter doesnt seem to dirty.

Normaly I use 1/4 oz or 7grams for every 1 stick of butter. So in other words 1oz for every 1 pound of butter.
