So I have been saving bag stems for about 8 months or so, I have already filtered through them before in a pain staking process of dumping them out and pushing them to the side to get the powder at the bottom, huge bitch because some of the stems are just stem particles, actually the majority of them are very very small stems.

Theres a few oz atleast of stems, some big, but most of them are small small stems that were already picked clean.

I had an idea, cut about 25 small holes and slits in a red cup, pour stems in, shake, and smoke what comes out. I have done abou 3 half full 16oz cups so far (same red cup every time). I am amazed at what comes out, just like a salt shaker, powder just slowly comes out into a pile onto my tray. Bud can't be broken up this fine by hand, when I scape it, everything kinda sticks together... I believe keef is what is coming out. I have gotten quite a bit so far.

However, when I smoke it, it doesn't taste very good. I do get blazed... but the taste... I can hardly stand to hold the hits in.

Does keef always taste like this? Its literally straight powder particles I am smoking. A lot of the stems were from shwag too.


but all in all, I recommend this, save your stems in a bag, it took me maybe 5 min to make the cup i used to shake powder out of.

keif tastes good to me it sound like keif though but \its hard to hold since its such high thc content i guess i always cough my nut of when i smoke keif

DO NOT throw stems away! use them to make hash oil! it is a very simple process involving ISO. I do this all the time, just stuff a jar ful of stems fill it wiith Isopropyl Alcohol (ISO) let it sit for a day or two strain all the liquid out. pour this into an old china saucer. let it evaporate a couple of days. what's left looks like black tar. this is hash oil. spread some of it on your next bowlof weed right on top (you can use a paper clip for a spreading tool as it's rather sticky), get a fire on it, until it starts to 'bubble' and cook...enjoy!!

that is NOT keif. Keif is the 'kind' powder that collects from bud and stems. Certain grinders collect it. you can also do it yourself with silkscreen cloth, buy a small silkscreen kit with a frame about 8x6 or so, every time you clean your weed, do it over this with a piece of glass under it. scrape up whatever falls onto glass. This is keif. Over time, you will have collected enough to make 'finger hash' search on here for references to it, I'm running out of room in my 'quick' reply

Yeah throw them stems in a bud buster and it will collect the hippy crack from the stems
My buster has a little notch that collects it when I break em down sooooo good try eating some of the crystal just a little bit to taste it. Its not going to get you high by eating a little and it's jus so good
