so the collective I go to gave me around 26grams of og kush shake to make some edibles with to see if they want me to make some edibles for them.

I ended up clerifying the butter in a crockpot and added about 10 grams of the shake the gave me to 2 sticks of clerified butter, I was just wondering if I went way over board or if that's a good ratio, lol. This is my first time making butter and my first time posting. Hope someone can give me a little insight. Ty

Sounds like it will good canna butter to me. I used two oz of sugar leaves from W.W. to make some butter and it came out great.Now go cook some cookies with it..

Looks good, looks how mine does... I have noticed the length of time affects the color AND the taste, the lighter the color being more clean, darker tasted more "roasted." (Or toasted lol)

i usually use about 10-12 grams per stick of butter.

Is the crockpot better than kooking it on the stove?

When clarifying butter you are supposed to remove all impurties (white stuff) on top as it is simmering. This is the milk solids which give the butter its creamy taste. If you want your butter to taste smoother and not as harsh do not bring it to a boil. Instead infuse your herb and butter slowly on a medium/low heat.
