i want to make cannibutter and i have some bud im going to put in it and i also have a bag full of trimmings that are probably 6 months old and stems so i was just wondering if the old trimmings and stems would make it taste bad or anything?

The old trimmings will be fine. The crystals are still on the sugar leaves. I'd take the stems out though. Also, I wouldn't use the "bud" in the cannabutter at all. Grind the bud up in a coffee grinder until its a fine powder, then mix it into the cookie/brownie flower before adding any wet ingredients. Be sure to mix it like crazy so that each cookie/brownie comes out with an even dosage.
