So i've scoured the net trying to find a consistent ratio (of weed to butter) to use , I found a few guides saying to use 1:1 ratio, (i.e 1oz of weed to 1 Oz butter) seems rather strong, no?

Anyway I have about 400g of dry trim from some pretty good outdoor plants (mostly fan leaves and a some close trim) and stems, it looks like a lot! if i mix that with 400g of butter i'll need to add a shit load of water just to boil this stuff (that cant be right, can it?)

So the question , in your opinion , how much butter should i use for 400g of trim (not bud and not nice sugary trim remember, I'm making blender hash with that) . I'm an experienced smoker and when i want to get high, i want to get HIGH!

If anyone has used similar quantities or type of weed to make butter i'd like to hear about your experience in cooking and ingesting.
