Howdy, Nice info. My wife made some really cool toffee brownies and cookies and cream brownies using about 4 0z's of some real good grade tiny little green buds she rendered into butter. I took 4 of them with me when I went out and shot pool on Friday night. I am not a big drinker ever, and really had a rough time drinking even two beers after eating 1 of the toffee brownies. The buzz was pretty mellow at first, yet quite intense after about 30 minutes. I gave the other 3 away to some very happy friends. I remember dancing and singing, but not much else. I think they might have been a bit strong.
Saturday afternoon my phone was ringing off the hook with people who heard about the brownies, and wanted to know if I had any left. I had a few left, but they were spoken for.

so the science behind it is becuase you have to take the thc out of the resin heads, and your stomach acide will just degrade all of the good stuff.

THC is heat activated. Meaning you must, burn it, heat it, cook it etc. You can also use alcohols and gases to extract the cannabinoids.
You'll probably get a bit of a buzz if you eat a heap of buds, but it has no where near the same effect.

Do a search on cooking with cannabis, you'll find it very interesting!
You can replace all the normal fats and oils you would us in your normal cooking with Cannaoil/butter.

actually, you CAN eat the stuff and get baked quite well. Best high I ever had was just ate a large bud before going to the airport---had a real trip during my trip! Your body digests the oil that's in the bud just like it digests oil in other food. just takes longer and the high is more difficult to control.

yea i have a oriental fiance and damnt if my but hasnt gotten really tough over the last couple of years lol, i eat stuff that could pull chrome off a tow hitch, i dunno how i dont have ulcers or somthing, at least not yet!
