Whats up RIU chefs and cooks, etc?

I've been looking up exact recipes for making tinchure but can not find the exact amount of cannabis to put in a fifth of eveclear, also the amount of cannabis to the amount of butter, lets say 5 sticks.

I was also thinking, what would happen if you mix cannabis with yager. Im goin to do more homework on that one before applying.

I know this one! I use Everclear to make my tinctures a lot. Basically, dice everything up (don't powder/grind it) and put it into your preferred glass kitchenware and only use enough Everclear to cover the skuff. You wanted exact measurements but it really depends on how well you dice your skuff and how it fits into your dish. Keep in mind you want your skuff to be fully submerged but you don't need excess solvent in there either. Now use a double boiler method to heat up the mixture to a simmering point. No more or vegetable matter can start to break down and boiling Everclear is scary. Keep simmering for about 20m or so. Strain out your skuff and toss it. Remember to squeeze every last drop of solvent back into your dish. Right now you have everything you need for a Green Dragon but for a proper tincture you want less alcohol in your finished product im assuming. All you need to do then is let the rest of the Everclear evaporate until you get the desired texture. I put my dish in a slow cooker and set it to Warm and check on it until its done.

Now remember, this stuff is STICKY. It will stick to everything it touches. It helps to leave enough Everclear in the tincture for proper handling. Its much easier to drain your tincture into a bottle or jar and let the rest evaporate than it is to have to scrape a dish with a razor blade for 3 days leaving you and everything you touch covered in green goo.
