I hear that you get more bang in the oven, but in a microwave how long should you heat up .5 grams that is mixed in with some peanut butter between two (regular) brownies?

Well, this is actually what I'm gonna try...I took lemon tea, emptied out half the bag, put in over half gram of finely ground bud. I'm gonna take like half a cup of milk, microwave it till boiling. Then steep the teabag, and when it starts to be not so hot, add in a 2nd half cup of boiling milk.

I'm letting it steep now, I hope I got the milk hot enough. It's been about 7 minutes, it's still very hot, and smells good! I plan on drinking it just before dinner, then it should hit me shortly after I guess.

Microwaves are not as reliable, but for something so small it makes sense. I recommend setting it on Low or at the highest Reheat for about an hour.

Thats what shitty bout microwaves. They're speed is their convience. U would wanna heat it slow and long to get everything out but Im sure u will get some sort expierence of it. I ussually just make my teas from many stems and a bit of shake and it makes me feel alert and enlightened. Of course I boil my shit for like 25-30 mins.

I have tried many methods of using a microwave to cook marijuana. I can't say it has ever worked for me. The closest I came was making pot hot chocolate (http://thecannabischef.com/content/h...-hot-chocolate) using the same recipe, only microwaving instead of using the stovetop. I used about 1/2 gram of weed, and 1/8 gram of hashish. If it worked, it barely worked. It was one of those times you can't tell if the effects are placebo or not.

I've decided not to use the microwave anymore, as I am afraid it might vaporize the THC. So if you are going to do it I recommend microwaving for 10 seconds, allow to cool a bit, and repeat as many times as you feel neccassary.

my friend did this when he had some extra bud to experiment with. he used my coffee grinder and made the weed into powder. then he took the powder and added it to a jar of peanut butter. he put the jar in the microwave for 30 secs at a time, took it out, stirred it up, and repeated. after 9 or 10 minutes in the microwave we each made a pb and j and got totally baked... but it tasted pretty bad. im guessing that if you just got the kief out of the weed and stirred that in using the same 30 sec technique it would work the same without the bad taste.
