Default My Attempt at THC Pills...

I thought I would try it out, so here's what I did:
Took 2 grams of bud and ground it as fine as I could with a spoon. Mixed it with a TBSP of vegetable oil. Put mixture in a coffee cup in the oven, at 180 degrees for four hours. Strained out plant material - again with the spoon. Used dropper to put liquid into geletin capsules.

So I thought I would use the plant material left as well, why waste it right? Threw it in a batch of blueberry muffin mix (the just add water kind) and gave 'em a try. My hubby and I ate one, didn't feel much...ate the rest of the batch. Well I guess we were just too impatient - because about two hours later, we were high as hell - and it lasted for TEN SOLID HOURS. Holy hell! A measly 2 grams! All I can say is, I hope there is as much spacy goodness in the pills, as was in the muffins. We will be taking them this coming weekend - so I'll update then on the potency.

why oh why did U do it????
Cannabis is cannabis and i would never give up my smoking rituals so to say, to just eat a fucking pills!!!!Thats lame.
But good experiment anyway.

Some people with respiratory issues, or those who enjoy cooking prefer to take advantage of cannabis using methods aside from burning the plant.

In fact, cooking with cannabis and using the pills is much more effective

lol Mostly because I smoked cigarettes for 22 years, quit a year and a half ago but the lungs are damaged - so while I am a fan of marijuana, I'm not so fond of smoke anymore.

People don't always have room in their pockets for cookies, brownies, cereal bars, etc. Pills are good when you're on the go, and don't have time, or appetite to eat. Pills are nothing more then an easier form of dosing your medication. Think about how bad it would suck if you had to eat an Excedrin brownie or cookie every time you had a headache... It makes no sense.

I get what you're saying in regards to the tie between pills, pharmaceuticals, and REAL drug abuse in 2009... but it's not like that for anyone... People don't quit abusing pharmaceuticals by popping pot pills, and I don't think taking pot pills increases your chances of abusing pharmaceuticals.

I could use the same logic to tie smoking joints to smoking cigarettes. Cigarettes are used/abused daily by millions of people, they carry true health risks, and unfortunately the companies that produce them do not see consequences often enough... However, if smoking your herb is what works best for you, even though a faster, easier alternative such as pills is available, do what works for you!

My opinion anyhow... knowing what its like to have poor lung function due to smoking.

Fair enough man.
But when we take cannabis to that new level-pills, then the whole aura of the magical herb is lost, but that is my personal opinion.
Like U said if your in a hurry and have no time to cook then yes, a perfect combo.

Man if you can find a way to quit cigs, go for it. My hubby and I quit together, so we had each other for support (and to strangle haha). But I sure wish I had quit a long time ago. Yeah I like the baked goods, too, but we have to be careful with them, as hubby is diabetic.
