Default butter with leaves... do i need water?
i plan on cooking some canna butter tomoro night with a bunch of leaves i just harvested off a few plants. i was wondering when i cook the leaves with the butter to extract the thc, do i need to boil water with the butter?

You don't have to... but if you plan on using a lot like 2.5ozs then i would, after you refrigate it be sure to seperate. If you need help with the cooking process just ask

Make sure those leaves are dry before doing this too.

Yes use water it helps pull the green taste out. Also if you have any ferts on your leaves it will go into the water, the thc is not water soluable so it goes into the fat of the butter. If you have a slow cooker put the water and butter and finely ground leaves in. Slow cook anywhere from 5 to 24 hours. Just depends on how much you are making. Make sure you strain into a bowl using hot water to pour over the leaf to get all the butter out. Put in frig. let seperate then pour out water and enjoy. I made cupcakes with frosting tonight.
