Default need advice on mj already soaked in alcohol

ok i've got this situation, a friend of a friend bought a bag of weed and decided to dump it in a container of alcohol and its been left at my friend's place for a year now.
i havnt seen the container myself yet, and neither has my friend checked the potency.

i was reading on how people make green dragon and i noticed that they talk about putting the weed in the oven first to convert THCA to active THC, i dont believe my friend did that.
so is there anything i can do to help this solution?

strain it and let it evaporate. Might get some iso hash but a year? Thats a long time for "quick wash iso" hash. Damn.

when my friends and I made green dragon not once did we ever put it in the oven or some shit like that. And we only left it in there for 2 weeks max. Correct me i'f I'm wrong I was under the impression the THC is only soluble in fat and alcohol? So I thought that when you put the weed in the booze the THC would soak into the alcohol?

soaking in 91 % rubbing alcohol is how iso hash is made. Simpoly evaporate and scrape residue with a razor. It's pure "hash"
