Default Made cannabutter in the past no trouble hits?

so i failed miserably at makeing cannabutter....at least i think i did.... lets spill the beans...

I put about a QP of trimmings into a pot with alot of water and about 4 sticks of butter..... boiled/simmered it for about 5 hours.... strain the cuttings and set in feezer.... accidentally left it in there all night and she froze... so i unfroze the pot (thankfully was only the top layer) and set everything frozen into a tub and set it in the fridge.. well it melted and the butter is not solidifying... did I F up?

Well if you were actually boiling it and you visibly saw steam rising, then you were probably cooking the THC. In which case the butter would suck. But the ultimate test would be to try it
