I already have everything to make the pills, but I am curious about your oil blend. Next time I get a few extra bucks maybe I'll try one of your refill kits. What size capsules does the kit use?

Actually you need to convert THCA in the plant into THC which is more psychoactive than THCA.

If I understand what I've read about the subject correctly, cannabis does not produce THC it produces THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid). Heating marijuana causes a decarboxylation reaction in the THCA molecule converting it to THC by getting rid of a carbon group.

Same thing happens when you smoke it. The heat from smoking or vaporizing converts THCA into THC.

This is why eating raw cannabis does not work nearly as well as smoking or cooking with cannabis.

I made a small batch of pills this morning and it was my easiest batch so far. I strained the weed out of the oil this time. I did not use any corn starch either. I used a plastic syringe to suck up the oil and deposit it directly into the capsule. No mess, and the capsules went back together easily.
