Cannabutter Questions

I'm making a small amount of cannabutter this weekend and I just have a few questions. First, is an eight of mids to a stick of butter a good ratio? If so, how much would a serving be?

And if I do the method with the bowl in he boilig water so the butter won't boil, how long do I let the butter simmer for?

well i know you can burn the thc if you cook it too long.... but the bowl thing your talking about is it like a doubble pot boiler used to melt chcolate.... i dont think it will burn it

Ok, I just need a rough estimate of time.

And approximately how long does it smell up your house? It's not mine so I don't want to stink it up too much....

cook for 20 min in the doubble boiler or longer if you feel it needs it just dont let it burn you only need to reach allittle over 110 degre f and for the smell its not that bad if you only make a litte the smell will go away in 2-6 hours

Last time I made some, which yielded the best results for me, I used a half oz of mids and 2 1/2 sticks of butter. double broiler on low low, lowest possible heat for an hour. the longer you can cook it for, the more THC is gonna be released, so as long as you can keep it going without burning, the better.
