i was looking at youtube with the old woman making cannabutter,, she showed a shot glass and said an ounce of weed per stick of butter.. now im assuming shes talking 1 fluid ounce because she had a shot glass,, is that enough weed to cook with? also,, i was thinking of using keif instead of weed..

heres how I cook:
a little over 1/3 cup of vegetable oil on low heat, grind up weed finely, add weed to oil, let simmer for 30 minutes to 2 hours stirring occasionally. the bud should be a nice even brown and the oil will get darker as well, strain weed out, chill oil in fridge for a few, cook brownies which call for 1/3 cup of oil, eat brownies, get faded.

Really you can use however much you want to put in, eighth or more for a good batch. The oil and bud turn a nice golden color, and use a good colander or a french press works well also. Coffee or other filter types block out potency.
