Just curious if the fat in the butter has a threshold on the amount of THC it can collect. Currently been using an ounce of regs for 2 sticks of butter with the boiling method. Makes about 30 cookies and everyone loves them. The high lasts about 4 hours and have even had comments about whether or not is was just MJ in the cookies.

As of now I'm happy with my 1oz/1cup ratio but I'd like to hear from others as well.

Also have a friend who wants me to take his ounce of white widow and make the cookies with the same ratio. To me it seems wasteful but once again I'm not sure. Will the butter be that more potent or should I only use a lesser amount for 1 cup of butter.

Absolutely use less than an ounce of quality genetics if regs work just fine. Or, just make 50-60 cookies instead.....you just gotta try it out. Or, try 1/2 oz of white widow in 1/3 cup of veggie oil simmered on stove for 1 hr on medium...and use that to make 8-10 brownies.
