Anyone ever tried this? I think I'm gonna try to fix it this weekend.

Ingredients

* 8 oz Vodka
* 1/8 oz butter (half a cube)
* 7-9 grams marijuana leaves or buds (crumbled)

Directions

1. Melt butter; stir in marijuana and continue stirring for one minute.

2. While hot and sizzling, pour in 8 oz Vodka.

3. Continue to boil for 30 seconds or more; stirring all the while

4. As it boils, alcohol will evaporate. Remove from heat when the desired amount of alcohol is in the mixture (personal preference)

5. Strain the mesh being sure to squeeze out all the liquid.

6. Sweeten with honey; pour into 4 ounce wine glasses; top with whipped cream.

Looks like it could be great.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, this potion is powerful! I decided to prepare it last night (5pm) after work to test it out at half strength.

I used 1/2 cup of vodka, 3g cannabis buds, 1 TBsp butter, and 1 TBsp honey.

I recommend using a hot plate outside if you can because the smell of sauteing marijuana is absolutely repulsive and the stink is hard to get rid of.

Anyways, it tasted really good and was smooth. Within an hour to an hour and a half I was the highest I have ever been on marijuana and it lasted hours and hours. I finally went to sleep at 1am (7 hours after taking the potion) and I was still flying high as a kite, in fact I'm still mildly high as I write this report.

Be really careful with this one.... please.

Yea il give it shot at some stage vodka and buds works for me most of the time migth astry it this way!

Its different all right! After I strained the plant material I ended up with like 2 tablespoons or 2 sips or something like that. I added some honey to sweeten it and it tasted great.

I used 3g of bud ground up in a coffee grinder. As it turned out, it was so god damn potent that after 4 or 5 hours of being a useless, drooling bufoon I actually just wanted it to end!

Yea, the vodka evaporates almost immediately so you don't taste it at all. I think the reason they pour vodka in with it is that it effectively binds the THC to the butter (or ghee) molecules. From what I understand, alcohol doesn't get filtered by the body, it gets absorbed directly from the stomach lining into the bloodstream. The butter/THC gets shuttled with the alcohol directly to the brain and this is why you feel the effects in like 10 minutes or so and it goes on and on and on for hours.

Yea, the original recipe calls for 9g and I dialed it down to 3g and even that was WAY too much. I think next time I will try 1g. In fairness, I'm using grade-A homegrown AK47 buds.

Imagine the highest you've ever been in your life (and I have been smoking for 15 years) and now imagine being that high for 5,6,7, 8 hours or more non-stop! Its fucking scary shit. I was even stoned (to a much lesser extent) the entire next day! Those Indians (from India) must be hard core bastards to drink this every year during the Holi Festival! They must be using leaves or something because I cannot imagine how it would have turned out if I used the 9g originally called for in the recipe.
