How powerful should I expect 1 stick of cannabutter that was made with 8 grams of finely chopped Reg to be?
(was made on low simmer for 6 hours, and butter is a nice emerald color)

The situation is this: 2 sticks of butter made with 16g's of finely chopped Reg. herb.. How potent should I expect the butter to be? ( the the butter was made by simmering a butter/water/reg weed solution and straining/pressing the result )

Highly potent weed yes. 1 stick of butter for 1/4 oz of High quality bud. slow cooker for 3 hour on high and 3 huors on low.

I'm not sure I understand the question. 8 grams is 8 grams any way you slice it and dice it, and the edibles are usually more potent, right? So divide your stick of butter (how ever big it is) into eight equal sized pieces and each piece of butter is a really potent gram (provided you've extracted for the right time and temperature and haven't boiled away all your thc.)

8 grams of mediocre vs 8 grams of fine bud cannabis, can make a huge difference in the final product.
