I have just made some cannabutter using around 13gs of vaped weed and about 3gs of stems. Simmered it for 12 hrs and made some fudge. They are pretty potent, and I stay stoned.

I still don't get it ? When you vape you heat up and inhale all the trichomes/thc available, and what is left is of no use (duff).
And Stems hold no thc what so ever, unless coated with trichs.
But hey more power to you.

The stems can still hold THC juice (though, not very much @ all), if they are juicy still and not all dried out! When you vape, ya dont use up all of the THC. However, I use a full oz of GOOD plant, so I would use 3 oz of vaped!

Unless you actually burn the plant matter, there will still be some thc left behind after vaporization up to a certain temperature. The leaves' combustion point is around 400 degrees, and most people don't vap to that high of temps, because that sort of defeats the purpose of vaping it in the first place, because you achieve combustion in the plant matter, therefore you get smoke and it releases more carcinogens.

And, basically just as you said - stems don't have thc unless they have trichomes on them... All the stems off of the shit I buy have trichs on them... :P I don't buy schwag if I can help it... That sure was one hell of an important unless.
