this is my 2nd attempt at making the butter,, first time i used an ounce ( 28g) of ragweed.simmered the weed with the butter mixture for 2 hours. ( slight boil) butter looked good, nice and green but i did not get a buzz off the cookies i made.( at all ) not sure what i did wrong cept the weed i used wasnt strong enough.. i bought a QP of this ragweed to experiment with but i dont think its potent enough.. i have 3 more ounces,, should i use it all in the next batch? or will i get better results from using regular weed ( not hydro ) and use less of it.. i see people using an eighth of weed and getting good results,, why am i not getting any results when using an ounce ( even though is rag ) any help will be appreciated

I think you probably over-boiled the butter. Maybe the temps got too high and the THC degraded. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought baking was a way to make halfway decent weed at least slightly more decent. If I were you, I'd try using a crock pot, or just keep a good eye on the temps when cooking. You didn't say how much butter you used. So maybe you used too much for the amount of herb you added? Or maybe you are one of the unlucky ones who doesn't feel strong effects from eating. Did anyone else test out the batch?

i'm no expert, made my first batch the other week but that shit is good. I only used like a quarter of trim and still got me wrecked used it in brownies. i'd say when you making the butter keep the temp as low as possible, so that it is barely bubbling and leave it for like 4 hours, my water kept on going down so i kept on topping it up not sure if thats right, then cook it on a real low temp in the oven for watever you are making, think mine was on like 130c. hope it works for you this time because budder is sick, gets you fucked up seriously

first time i used 28 grams of weed to 1 stick of butter,, the weed was horrible, thats why i used 1 full ounce,, today im using 2 ounces or crappy weed and another big bud of decent pot,, hopefully this works better..

I used 20 grams of shake/trim and 4 sticks of butter, I'd say theres 5-6 cups of butter..you should grind that material up fine, do not ever boil, you can get maybe 3-5 bubbles but never boiling hot..and you need 4 hours to do this. Meanwhile put a glass bowl in the fridge. Once the time is up on the butter it needs to be strained. The finer the screen, the better. Strain into that chilled glass bowl, back into the pot, back into the bowl, place in the fridge for 2 hours, holler atcha boy.

ok, i put in 2 ounces of RAGWEED (all buds w/stems 56grams) also i put in a nice 2 to 3 gram bud of REGULAR good weed ( not hydro ) with 1 stick of butter and approx 4 cups of water. i let it simmer for 5 hours and strained it thru cheesecloth and a strainer. its now cooling in the fridge. its not the best weed but i figure with all that i used,, it should be enough. it will get you high if you smoke it..so it should work ok with this. am i right? we will see when it's cooled..

and I was mistaken, I had 2 cups of butter, 1 stick is 1/2 a cup. ya everything should work out just fine...

what should this butter smell like? mine smells strong... not very good..

yeah, mine smelt disgusting, when you cool it down and get rid of the water some of it might have stuck to the butter if it was too cold. wash that off thats the nastied bit, but yeah once you put it in the brownies it somehow turns out nice

how much thc can one stick of butter hold??? im assuming the fatty cells in the butter can only hold so much because it would be a waste to know your not using all the thc to its full potential.

we used one ounce to one of those boxes of butter which i believe have six sticks???
we also got really picky and picked the brang with the most vegetable oil in to absorb as much thc as possible
