now I want to make hash or hash oil. I used 100 proof vodka with some good budshake. but I forgot to heat at 325 for 5 mins to change the THC from THC acid just to THC (what happens when you smoke it.)

so I was wondering if I strain out the weed and allow the vodka to evaporate would I come out with some decent hash or hash oil?

Is the plant matter still in the alcohol mix?

Heat to 80 C and the alcohol will boil off, the resin disolved from the bud will sink in the remaining water to the bottom of the jar. Add some water before heating so the terpins don't fall out of the water as sediment, into the oil. Let the water cool in the fridge for a half hour to let the resin settle on the bottom.

Heat the resin to decarboxylaze and try again if you like, you'll get a better tasting tincture using just resin and no bud.
