I have just under 1/4 oz of bud and have dried and ground all up into pouder.

Do you advise I use about 125gram of butter or is this to much?

Please get back to me.... Oh ill be making cookies or putting on bread, noodles n stuff.

idk what 125grams is, but one stick (1/2 cup) of butter is about what you should use per 1/4 of ganj if youve never done this before. its a good start.
