Default *say u had 1 gram in a fire cracker or cannabutter with 1 gram in it which would get

basically the question is. do firecrackers get you just as high as cannabutter with the same dose of pot in them?


im asking cuz firecrackers are so much easyer to make so I was hoping cannabuter would be stronger since it takes so long to cook


by the way my first try at cannbutter suger cookies were made last night. just ate one, i think each cookie should have about 1-1/4 gram of white widow in it

will I get really fucked up? did i eat too much with that 1 one gram cookie?

i usually put one gram in a fire cracker and eat it

will my 1 gram suger cookie fuck me up more than my 1 gram firecracker?

im not sure as to what youre referring to as a "Firecracker" (Gelcap shell filled with a tincture or butter?)................but if you make cannabutter with 1-1/4 gram of that butter/ganj ratio per cookie (you can also just eat the butter straight.....i do this its faster) youre gonna be wrecked. Pending that you made it correctly and good.

Also you say white widow, ive found that using high grade bud (Unless you have a supply of trim from a grow or something) is a complete waste of money and time. Ive actually made better butter with just midgrade brick from my area thats way better than the highgrade.

the only difference ive ever noticed in both is the smell of the simmer, and the overall taste is different (Not better, not worse, just a different taste)

so dont waste your money (although you may not be)

fire cracker is when you take organic peanut butter put it on a cracker and sanwich it with weed in it then wrap in foil and throw in the oven for 20 min



heres a question for you. im going ot take coconut oil and put it in a heat safe jar with weed in it and put it in the oven at 310 deg f


I do this cuz its real hard for me to regulate the temps on top of the stove so i cook it on my oven


This should work fine right?

how long do you think it would be most potent, like how long to simmer it in the oven at 310f?

also what do you think about if i closed the lid to the jar, i heard somwhere that it will infuse quiker

I was also wondering would it help to vacum seal the jar before cooking it thereby getting rid of all the oxygen in there.

can anyone help?


then i plan to get a plastic syringe and squirt the whole mix into large pills and then freeze them for future use

if anyone can help with any comments or suggesttions it would be great

I think 310 is a bit high. And as long as the coconut oil has a very high fat content it should work fine. Imo the best method would be to simmer the mix in a crock pot for 24 to 48 hours. Thats how i do it, but i always use butter.

the only comment i can make in response is to recomend not putting the jar into the oven with the lid closed. ive tried this once before (Pasta Sauce) and it just resulted in a big bang, sauce everywhere, and a broken oven glass door.

But, oil may not have the moisture in it to create enough pressure to explode? Im not sure.......dry the weed out as much as possible first.

You'd be better off using your cook-top. Just turn the heat real low because you want to only "simmer" and not burn. Instead of the coconut oil, use butter. Melt some butter in a sauce pan. Put your chopped trim, bud and a little water in the pan with the butter and simmer while constantly stirring. After about 15 to 20 minutes, pour the entire contents into a small TupperWare container and put the whole shebang into the freezer. When the butter is frozen, you'll see three layers. 1. The cannabutter will be on top. 2. The weed will be in the middle. 3. The ice will be on the bottom. Run warm water over the bottom of the container to loosen the frozen matter. Once the butter is out of the container, cut and scrape the bottom two layers off so that you are left with nothing but the butter. You can put the butter back into the container and into the freezer for future use. This makes potent butter that's ideal for cooking. Personally, I use it to bake Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookies. I use the butter (melted) to replace the oil in the recipe ... and then I grind a quarter ounce of of my finest bud into a powder using my coffee bean grinder, then I mix it into the cookie mix flour before adding the egg and cannabutter.

Not that it sounds like a bad idea, but using canna butter AND fresh ground weed in your cookie mix sounds just a bit over kill. Id think it would taste sickeningly like weed, which unfortunately i cant stand the taste of(smoked is another story).

well the idea behind using coconut oil is that it is very high in fat, can stew at very high temps without burning allowing you to make your cannabutter / canna oil much quiker by roasting it just under thc vaporization temps

also the coconut oil has triglicerids that are absorbed by the body much faster than regular fat which will make you get hi much faster after you eat it

also coconut oil doesnt go rancid


i tried the expiriment with a pyrex bowl i put some finly choped weed in it and some olive oil and put it in the oven at 315 deg f for 45 min stiring once or twice during the cook time


I had 3 grams total in there, i ate a little more than half the mixture and basically got so fucked up I took it around 6 pm and i still didnt feel right the next morning so I had to call in to work lol

anyway i was hoping somone knew what the most efficiant temp is to activate the pot into the fat and the most optimal roasting duration for that temp to extract the most potant cannaoil

also would like to know if a vacum seal during this process will make it even more potent.

I hope somone knows or im gonna get so fucked up doing all the expiriments myself

ok I have learned that THC vaporizes between 210-220 F "in a vacuum" so do not vacume seal your jar if you are going to try this


but I have been reading and seems this method is sound

they say the coconut oil is the best to use to extract the most unless u are using solvents and boiling them off


tonight I will make the first batch and pill it up


I have read that a turkey baster works well to fill the caps. I guess we are about to find out

I may us a syringe tho just so I can shake up the mix better in the syringe to get conformity dosage in the pils.

I would say cannabutter, you cook the herb in it for longer. Firecrackers don't seem to do it for me, cannabudder will fuck me up!
