4 cups of water
112 grams of bud trim and small buds 1 pound of butter i have a crock pot and a thermometer.

so i melted the butter in the water first. then i ground the herb in the coffee grinder. i added this to the butter/water and put the crock pot on "low". once it started to bubble i switched it to "warm". i let it cool down on a warm for about 30 mins or so then switched it back to "low" until it bubbled again. then i switched it back to "low". the thermometer reads 140 on "warm" and about 170 on "low". i only let it just reach bubbling before turning it down. i don't want to burn it.

after 4 and 1/2 hours i have strained off all the butter. i used a potato ricer to press it all out of the plant matter. i then put the plant matter back in the crock pot with 4 cups of fresh water. i will bring this to bubble then lower. i may simmer it overnight then add it to the first batch in the morning.

4.5 hours thats some serious extraction. I cooked 14 grams into 1/8 cup of oil for 45 min and made brownies and got so god damn high. lol but 4.5 hours wow I want one of those kookies. have you found away to get rid of the resin taste in the food you cook with it?

i made some sugar cookies. i used 1 cube of butter, 8 tablespoons. i made 13 cookies. i am eating one now.
