Default Fresh herb in cooking?
Okay as you folks know Xmas is fast approaching and, as is always the case, money is tight. My harvest should be ready on the 22nd Dec quite gives very little time for drying and no time for curing. I am considering making a few vegan space cookies for friends.

My question is, when using cannabis in cooking is it necessary to dry and cure them first or, can you throw the magic ingredient in fresh?

Love and light,
CuriousSoul

I guess clorofil is not such a problem when eaten... we eat enough green stuff anyway.... Can't see any reason why you can't use fresh herb...

The main reason we smoke dryer weed is becasue the percentage of THC per weight increases as the water evaporates and the chlorofil (which tastes crap when smoked) goes off.

Muffins finished up nicely, and potent. the herb for the recipe was cut only about 2 hrs before going in. going to eat one here in a bit and go to the museum.

My muffins were great. The taste was exceptional, but potency was lacking. I didn't use very much bud, so that was the main reason they were not strong. And when I say strong I mean, just one muffin and WHOA! Hang on. I had to eat two and a half to get where I wanted to be. But in conclusion, Green bud (fresh cut) is fine to use when cooking.
