Normally when i whip a batch of brownies i use a quad of quality nug (grown myself) per brownie mix. If i was to use an 8th and simply cut the brownie mix, as well as all the other ingredients in half would they be the same or would i run into trouble?

Sounds ok, as long as you made sure you cut the ingredients down perfectly.
how do you get your bud into the mix? cannaoil? cannabutter? grounded into it?

just make the same batch and eat twice as much. They'll taste better with less bud used anyhow.

i like cutting brownie recipes in half as well. i usually use the same amount of oil though, just so that it can absorb as much thc as possible. a slightly greasy brownie isnt a problem imo. i prefer having less food in my stomach when doing brownies so that its absorbed quicker and more intense instead of spaced out.
