Oil in a second run?

I got some trims of some so-so plant. I've done one run on the oil in the crockpot, is it possible to strain and add new plant matter? Or would you think the oil has hit its absolute absorption? thanks in advance.

i think the oil can only absorb so much. i could be wrong.

That's what I was thinking, but if the plant was not too keen on the thc, could it absorb additional with more plant added?

yes, that could be possible. the THC bonds to the oil so i think it can only hold so much, but if it's a lower grade weed then a second run would most likely be beneficial.
